*Technical Architect*

*Primary Skills:*

Will be working closely with business owners, business analysts, technical
and data architects, project management and the database consultant or
administrator to develop an overall plan to meet business requirements and
develop a solution to accomplish

*Skills/Job Responsibilities:*

   - Must have previous experience in architecting integrated databases /
   warehouses including data modeling.
   - Must have previous experience in designing OLTP and OLAP systems,
   utilizing Oracle 7 or greater databases running in an Sun environment.
   - Must have previous experience in designing enterprise reporting
   applications using reporting tools like Actuate or any BI tools.
   - Must have extensive experience integrating systems, applications and
   various software components within a Oracle environment such as:
   - Experience with PL/SQL, Extract Transform and Load Data using Oracle
   preferred
   - Previous exposure to business intelligence and analytics tools such
   as Siebel is preferred.

*Other Requirements/Notes:*

   - This position requires strong knowledge of RDBMS based reporting
   applications that includes the following:
   - Ability to review, analyze and evaluate business systems ,user needs
   and data models in order to facilitate system designs to meet requirements.
   - Capability of designing complex systems at the component level,
   making strategic technology recommendations and providing guidance on the
   quality of designs and implementation inside and between components.
   - Ability to dentify key business and technology drivers that impact
   application architectures, such as end-user community requirements, existing
   software distribution capabilities, existing application environment
   (including legacy and packaged systems) and performance and availability
   requirements.
   - Translate project requirements into detailed designs to be
   implemented while balancing needs for immediate action and the long-term
   vision.
   - Ability to conduct assessments of current business and technology
   architectures including:

        Functional assessment (e.g. end user satisfaction, functional
overlaps/gaps)

        Technical assessment (e.g. platforms, tool proliferation, age of
underlying technologies, uptime/availability, business processes).

The position will be working closely with business owners, business
analysts, technical and data architects, project management and the database
consultant or administrator to develop an overall plan to meet business
requirements and develop a solution to accomplish those tasks as well as
creating use cases that will test out the business solution.
