The Application Development Manager's role is to manage and maintain company
IS applications through best practices and appropriate staffing and
supervision of a technical team.

Responsibilities include:
. Supervising and providing technical leadership to the Application
Development Team
. Developing new and enhancing existing applications and systems software
. Identifying and resolving program errors
. Ensuring that System Development Life Cycle development projects fulfill
the SDLC project process, including requirements gathering, risk analysis,
technical specifications, project plans, schedules, acceptance testing,
approvals, etc
. Ensuring that other program changes and enhancements fulfill the IS Change
Management process
. Communicate and liaise with other IS Teams and business users to enhance
quality assurance, program logic, data processing, and deployments
. Assist in the evaluation of packaged business solutions where appropriate

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
MIS, or other related field is required. Other requirements include at least
5+ years experience in managing comprehensive application development
projects (from inception through successful implementation) and leading,
mentoring, and motivating a technical staff. Applicants must have at least
10 years working experience in application programming and relational
databases, preferably Java, Websphere and Mainframe. Experience in the
hospitality industry is a plus. .
